IMAGINATION, A JOURNEY THAT NEVER ENDS

PATH OF THE VISIONFORGED

PHASE I

Long, but not so long ago, a curious soul stepped through a portal of glowing screens and whispered legends. He walks still; through shifting realms of code and color, chasing meaning in the echoes of forgotten quests. Back in 2009, untold tales speak of a curious kid with a spark for storytelling and some serious “1s and 0s” game magic coded his very first Snake game on DOS using C++. Did it break the internet? No. Did it change his life? Absolutely.

Fast forward to Toonz Academy, Trivandrum — where pencils met pixels and G took his first step into the world of 2D/3D art, animation, and creative tools. A one-year crash course that felt like a year-long montage from an ‘80s training film. Along came ICAT, Bengaluru. With a BA (Hons) in Digital Media Production specializing in Game Design under his belt and caffeine in his bloodstream, G dove deep into industry pipelines and design practices. Here, he and his brave crew built The Percordian Mirror, a 2.5D platformer with shapeshifting hilarity, a wild boss fight, and ten different levels of design blood, sweat, and laughter. It was weird. It was wonderful. Everyone loved it.

PHASE II

Then came the twist no one saw coming; an offer to study at Vancouver Film School, Canada. The big leagues. The RPG quest line he didn’t know he was ready for. Here, he got his MA in Game Design, Development & Coding, built a multiplayer Unreal Tournament map hosted by Epic, and created not one but two distinctly bizarre games: a color-shifting 2.5D platformer and a banana-suit-wearing Batman parody in a 2D isometric food brawler. It was glorious... and expensive. But, glorious!

After VFS, he interned at Moonlitsky Studios, contributing to a turn-based modular strategy game.

Then came a homecoming to Kerala, not to retire, but to inspire. With the wisdom he gathered on his ventures, G became a Game Design Lecturer, molding UG and PG students like NPCs with major potential.

Then came BYJU’S. Prime pay. Prime games. Prime G. He designed Disney-laced edtech experiences and lived a life of leisure.

PHASE III

And like every other Hero's Journey, peril took over. Stakes grew. Soon, priorities shifted, and the climb he fought for slowly seemed to slip away.

From BYJU’S to TILTLABS in Kerala like a blinded fool on an epic boss level with no endgame gear he flinched for once in his life.

What became of the spark. . .

. . . that was fading every second?

PHASE IV

These days, G is more silent. Engulfed not too far into the darkness,

that a mere glimpse of his glowing wisdom is all that is visible to the naked eye.

Standing ground? that would be too generous.

Once a firm believer that only dead fishes go with the flow, he now simply rides the current. Not out of surrender, but because sometimes, some currents do lead you to see*

Today, he is relentless, forged in the fires of his own agony, he's picking up the pieces and building again; slowly, steadily, keeping in touch with an industry he refuses to let go of as a Game Content Producer at TILTEDU.

It’s not full-time. It’s not glamorous.

But it’s progress.

After all, when your journey is Visionforged,

the best levels are always the ones you haven't unlocked yet.
